The Israel Port Company (IPC) is responsible for the planning, development, construction, maintenance, and enhancement of Israel’s major commercial seaports in Haifa, Ashdod, and Eilat. Recently, the IPC successfully completed the construction of the Southport Terminal in Ashdod and the Bayport Terminal in Haifa, both of which are now fully operational.
By supporting the national economy and contributing to lower living costs, the IPC plays a vital role in fostering economic growth. Its ongoing port development and renovation initiatives are designed to optimize port operations, enhance competition in port services, and improve overall efficiency, ultimately providing better service to the maritime trade community.
Under this responsibility, Israel Port Company (IPC) is executing the port accessibility project being developed in Haifa Bay, which includes a railway line connected to the national railway network, an operational station including signalling and interlocking building, and an operational building for the railway staff operating the marshalling lines inside the bay port .
Our office managed the design and execution of the project’s entire superstructure, which included, tracks, signaling systems, both wireless and wired railway communication systems, GSM-R, optical transmission, the construction of a control and command center, and an operational facility equipped with electrical and communication systems, security, optical transmission, , IT systems, and more.
Scope of Services:
- Design management.
- Project management of communication and railway systems.
- Design of a copper and optical railway communication system, Including design approval and preparation of plans for execution.
- Final and detailed design for reinstalling railway communication and signaling lines.
- Construction of substructure and superstructure.
- Managing the design and execution of the communication and signaling systems connections to the existing railway lines.
- Managing conducting and commencing all contracts and engagements with all system and track suppliers for the project’s implementation.
